Get your hands dirty with Hopewell Gardens! We're a trusted non-profit organization that works side by side with youth to provide them skills that will help them succeed in life. Tap into your inner future gardener today through one of these programs!

Hopewell Gardens partners with a local Bible college, the Institute for GOD, by training students for long-term development work in impoverished nations. In the meantime, they feed Nashville organic produce through their volunteer work. Students learn concepts like sustainability, duplicability, and appropriate technology.

The Academy for GOD is a local K-12 school that offers a holistic approach to their learning model. Hopewell Gardens provides a place for all age ranges to learn and experience farming alongside our farm employees. Students learn everything about the process of farm-to-table food production that benefits their own food program.

CASE is an after-school program in partnership with Nashville After Zone Alliance (NAZA) designed for at-risk middle schoolers. Hopewell Farms partners with CASE to offer students opportunities to try new skills in the farm environment with the support of mentors, who focus on teaching character and life skills.

WorkWell is a youth program in partnership with Nashville NOW that provides a safe and exciting paid work opportunity for youth ages 14-16. Workers are paired with a field expert who will train them in farming techniques and important soft skills such as punctuality, communication and teamwork.

SLAM is a local nonprofit focused on providing youth with community service opportunities. Hopewell Gardens partners with SLAM as they volunteer to harvest, clean and deliver organic produce to the elderly, refugees, and immigrants in the Nashville area.

Upcoming Workshops & Seminars

There’s a place for everyone at our workshops and seminars, whether you’re a garden newbie or come from generations of farming, you’re sure to enjoy your time meeting like minded folks in the community. Our seminars and workshops cover transplanting seed starts, backyard gardening, how to cook from farm to table, fermentation and everything in between. We’re excited to provide the education to make your gardening experience a success.

Refugee & Immigrant Care in Nashville, TN.

As a program of G.O.D Int’l, a local non-profit organization, Hopewell Gardens offers seminars and workshops for the refugee and immigrant populations in the greater Nashville area. We believe our neighbors should have access to resources and education that empower them to participate and integrate into the new place they call home. Our workshops focus on practical skills such as soil cultivation, nutrition and plant maintenance and care.
